My stay at Grand Hotel Du Lac was good overall. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience very enjoyable. However, I found the room lacked windows, making it hard to gauge the weather outside. Still, the hotel's location in the heart of the Old Quarter was perfect for exploring Hanoi.

The location was perfect, right in the heart of Hanoi's Old Quarter, making it easy to explore the local cafes and attractions. The breakfast was fantastic, featuring a la carte options and amazing views. However, I do wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy it all.

I had an very nice stay at the Grand Hotel Du Lac Hanoi during my honeymoon. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice experience, from assisting with restaurant reservations to surprising us with special gifts in our room. The breakfasts were good, offering a variety of delicious options. However, I did notice some noise from outside during the early mornings, which might affect light sleepers.
